I picked up the skirt fabrics a few years ago with the intention of making a quilt,
then a bit over a year ago I worked on a collab with a few other wahms to make a complete baby girl gift set with about half. A couple of weeks ago I scored on a huge bucket of quilting fabrics, inside there was this great pink that matched perfectly.
Today I'm proud to show you a size 6 two piece set, top and apron skirt.

Just finished and snuck in pics before the rain started.

Here we have these Catalina prints done up in a ruffle neck, roomy, twirly dress.

These colors caught my eye instantly when I walked into the quilt shop a few weeks ago.

Simple & Sweet
I found these two fabrics and only bought alittle of each,
thinking of Spring I knew I wanted to do just something with it.
Here goes a 2T top with cordinating shorts.

Please meet....

Bubba "Daddy" Doll

It was such a pleasure to make this special guy,
he went home to be loved and hugged by an 18mon old boy who's about to experience a deployment.
He is custom made to look like Daddy even down to his clothes which are upcycled from an old ABU top.
Being an Active Duty Military family this just tugs at my heart and it was such a great feeling to send him home.

*Warning* if you're in the Valentine Contest with me on CraftForum don't look below*

So as posted above, my challenge/project this week came from a Valentines Contest I'm entering. My inspiration was the SweetHearts candy. Now I didn't go and write on a whole bunch of hearts but instead I made their box into a pillowcase.

We have the front of the box

the back of the box

a touch of detail on the top, quilted strips, ruffle & ties to secure the pillow nicely

and to top it off, it already has a home to go to, ds1 is gifting it to his gf for their second Valentines Day.

A Romper!
Yep it's not a dress, I had this lovely Michael Miller 'giraffes garden' fabric but no coordinates for it so as I'm sitting here wondering oh cute now what....
It was suggested to try a romper with something else so I put the two together and viola.
This one has shoulder ties I find it to be more feminine, the print though I believe is gender neutral.
Sized 6-12mon
length armpit to closure is 15in
chest/back elastic sits at 17in around and stretches to 26in
leg/thigh sits at 10in with stretch
To go along with it is a tiny teether buddy.
So what do you think?
