Rainbow love!

Yes the rainbow bug has biten :)
A long while back I swapped rainbow charm squares in dots/stripes/solids swap over on Flickr.
Here & there I've used one or two for swap blocks or applique then I came upon this pixelated heart.
I knew instantly that I had to use the rainbow charms to make a quilt. A large one at that.

I'm hoping to kick start something new the first of next month that I'm really excited about.

A goal of ours here at home for 2014 is less eating out, its only allowed on a Birhday, Holiday, Anniversary if we (or birthday person) so chooses.

One goal of mine here at Noguchi Designs is to link up monthly to A Lovely Year of Finishes with a goal & finish.
Second goal is an item a week. Its not set in stone as life seems to always through me curve balls but a goal is something in the right direction, an item can be a toy, dress, bag, swap piece etc.

Now for my January Goal-

Get the top done on my Penny Patch from last years QAL at Stitched in Color.

Whipped cream would be to sandwich it and the cherry on top would be to start quilting it.

I've been working on getting out the instock, 

sewing up a few things, taking fresh pictures and even got the www going.

Working on a treat for my niece whose due in a few weeks. Here's a peak. Lots of trimming going on, taking these hst scraps and cutting them down to 1.5in squares o_0
