Rainbow Love ~ Finished!!!
On Tuesday I posted my WIP then went to town on the quilting.
I did change out the second to last row to include a rainbow of charms.
As for quilting I straight stitched the width of the foot all throughout the heart.
I changed the thread to coordinate per section. Pink for the pink & red, yellow for the orange & yellow, green on green, blue for blue & purple. I then stitched a grid on the black to mimic the charms, so every 4.5in per say, then did a diagonal across to finish it all off.
On the black I used a Rainbow thread as well as on the back. I did the binding with the backing.
This sucker is huge for me. 67.5in prior washing.

I love the rainbow thread and the heart is so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your choice of quilting lines! I am still struggling with that part of quiltmaking and your choices work so well with the quilt.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Love your quilting choices too! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is really pretty! The quilting is fantastic. I think it's awesome that you took the time to change out the threads.
ReplyDeleteYour colors look so good together and they really pop with the black.
